I suppose so. I don't envy taxi commuters, that's for sure.

You shouldn't. Especially in the summer, where you either stand in the subway stations that are so hot or the taxi's that people always sweat in. You can't win.

Imagine the worst pain the cabbies must go through. But it's New York and the show must go on, everyone gets their fill of it eventually.

Everyone just gets used to it and gets on. I like that, you have no room to whine or bitch. You just have to go.

Now those drivers, they've got to have the most intriguing stories of what they've seen.

I'd love to hear all the scandals that have probably happened. This city does get pretty wild.

The tourists, the drunks, the famous and the suits. Some of them are just as interesting when they choose to speak.

One of them invited me to their beach house in Miami once, I wasn't sure how to respond and we were heavily stuck in traffic. So it was a little awkward.

I think that's what a lot of people fear, between the asking of advice and volunteering too much information. It's made worse when you can't even leave.

And then they want your phone number? At least they're usually mostly male, you probably avoid that one.

After enough of those, I found myself better suited with a private service instead. Much easier, haha.

Oh what money can buy, haha. Good drivers that aren't nosy, that's what.
