ITHIKA CORONA FORSYTH
NICKNAMES: n/a. AGE & BIRTHDAY: Twenty-five, May 5th. HEIGHT: 5'10" HOMETOWN: Toulouse, France. RESIDENCE: New York. PROFESSION: n/a. Mother. RELATIONSHIP STATUS: Divorced.
FATHER:Marcel Forsyth, 59, French Politician.
"My father is my father. He was born and raised in France to a couple of old school wealthy parents. His dad was some sort of government official, which meant that my dad grew up obligated to do the exact same thing. I'm not entirely sure he was ever happy with it, but he stuck with political work my entire life so he can't be too upset with it. About thirty years ago, he became an ambassador and started traveling to various countries. He got assigned to Romania for a time and ended up meeting my mother. My mother was just a Romanian journalist. Young, beautiful, and full of life. They fell in love and had Corsica within a short time. I struggle to believe that my dad ever really loved her, but he stuck with her when she got pregnant so again - it couldn't be that bad. He's a strict man. Very determined in his career, very focused and very protective. He's always had this image that his kids needed to be a certain way. Whenever the family was in the public eye he wanted us to look like the perfect little family. He sent us to learn about proper etiquette and had tutors come in to home school us. He always wanted what was best for us." MOTHER: Katarina Forsyth, 44, homemaker.
"Now my mother was sort of the opposite of my father. Where he was driven and politically oriented, she was very compassionate and family oriented. She was probably the sole reason that our family really sticking together the way it did. While our father was very loving and cared about us a great deal - our mom was the reason we had family dinners, she was the reason that we managed to stick together so closely. She was the one that made sure our father never got too wrapped up in work that he forgot about us. Every day she would ensure we had a family dinner and if we weren't able to have dinner together because they were out of town, she made sure that she called our nannies and such to check on us. I used to argue with her constantly growing up because I hated all the useless classes she made us take. I hated the dinners and the parties she made me mingle at. I hated that I had to dress and act a certain way or she would pinch me and give me those little lectures. She was beyond annoying, but she's a good woman." SIBLINGS: Corsica Maxwell, 27; Lola Forsyth, 23.
"Sisters, you have to love them, but boy are they obnoxious. My relationship with both of them has more or less always been strained. Lola was always the baby - even if she's only two years younger than me - and I always struggled with the idea that she was welcome with me and Corsica when we hung out. It was just weird. Corsica was my best friend my entire life. I grew up wanting to be like her. She was always the one that the tutors loved. She excelled in the arts, she could sing and play instruments like nobodies business, she was gorgeous, she had the best fashion sense, she had gorgeous friends and equally attractive boyfriends. She was the sibling that was the picture of perfection to the press and none of those dirty little secrets and bad seed traits were ever revealed. She was the wild child with enough secrets to fill a football field, but she was so good at keeping it a secret. I envied it. During what would be my high school years, we started having problems. I was in my last year of school and she was a sophomore going to Columbia. She brought home this boyfriend. Apparently they had been together since she started college and it was pretty heavy. I was always a pretty selfish girl, I guess, so when he kissed me I didn't stop him. Jason and I had a brief affair while me and my then boyfriend were on a break. From then on out we had huge problems. She broke up with the guy when she found out about it and I dated him until I got bored. Then she dove right back into the relationship with him about three years later. The two of them came home for Christmas one year with wedding bands. He tried to kiss me again, she caught us, but things didn't move forward - mostly because Corsica told him I was pregnant. Which I was - with Rosie. We sort of pretended that nothing ever happened. Me and Jason have our issues, but we've both moved on. Me and Corsica have had trust issues ever since. As for Lola... I care about the girl quite a bit, I really do, but I think she's a lot different from me and Corsica. She sort of always has been. She's had her head screwed on straight for as long as I can remember. It blows me away that she didn't get the crazy gene. She never had to deal with the drama we did and she always had bigger dreams than being a housewife. It's admirable, but it's also annoying sometimes." EXTENDED: Lucia Silva, cousin.
"I don't know Lucia as well as I wish I did. She is my cousin on my mother's side. Our mother's are sisters and I guess they get along fairly well from what I remember, but I really didn't grow up with her family so I couldn't tell you much. We visited them on holiday's every now and again, she's a cute kid. I would love to get to know her better. I would love for my daughters to know their cousin and the rest of their family." OTHER: Rosie, 6, daughter; Evie, 3, daughter;
"My daughters are my life. Both are by different fathers, both of whom I cared deeply about. Rosie didn't even live with me the first year and a half -ish of her life. I was only nineteen when I had her and that was a huge scandal in my family that they wanted to cover up. To the press I was at rehab - which should have been more embarrassing than a baby, right? - but I was just having her. She ended up going and living with a family friend in Oregon with the intent that I would never see her again. The father didn't even know that I had a baby. At some point the guilt overcame me so I told him about Rosie and he demanded that I get her back. We entered something of a relationship for awhile, but there was a lot of drama and we ended up breaking up. We went to court for custody and we have to play nice and share. Though Rosie spends most of her time with her father because she's really a daddy's girl. I visit her when I can, but she doesn't seem to want to be around me much so I let her be when she doesn't want me. She's the only reason I stick around New York. I had Evie about a year after we broke up. I'm not with Evie's father, but I do have full custody of her so that's something. Her and Rosie are absolute dears together. They're very different from one another, but I love them both a great deal." Axel & Rose, chinchillas.
"They're practically my children okay."
