ANNE TYDEREN ALDRIDGE
Anne Tyderen Alrdridge (born 04/15/1987) is an American actress and former model. She is best known for her former work for lingerie retailer Victoria’s Secret. As of July 2011, she ranks No. 13 on “The Money Girls” list. After retiring from modeling in late 2011, Alridge began her acting career. Her most notable roles in The Town, Green Lantern, and Savages gave the former model acting credibility. In October 2012, Aldridge and boyfriend, Felix Harper of Lucky Strike announced they were expecting their first child.

"Annie Aldridge is a Valentino Vixen at Vanity Fair Oscar's after party. (TheCut)"
"@luckystrike4ever: Well clearly @anniealridge did this on purpose.... #foreveralone"
"Annie Aldridge pregnant"
your signature: I'm secretly a Gemini, I don't stick to one thing. your coffee order: Black. your go-to magazine: US Weekly, super guilty. your favorite brand: Loving Celine. your ultimate goal: At this point, be a good mom.
I absolutely don't understand: The lack of space in trailers. I've always looked up to: Cindy Crawford. I'm most likely to feud with: Um, Felix Harper? I'm starting to pay attention to: The level of invasion people will go to for a picture. I've always wanted to hook up with: George Clooney. I wonder what it's like to be: Anyone else.
"I don’t really know what inspired me to do this. Despite being like every other six year old girl, that went through a stage of wanting to be an actress, I had never given modeling or acting serious thought. But when I was fourteen, vacationing with my mom and dad in Florida, I was approached by a scout from New York. I’d matured quickly, was already 5’10, I guess it made sense. But it all still seemed a bit unreal. And that was when I realized that this was a possible career path. So we flew to New York a week later, and I was signed on the spot. But jobs were scarce in LA, oddly enough, so they suggested I move to New York. My parents tried to say no for awhile, but I eventually got them to agree, and when I was fifteen I moved to the model apartments. My modeling career was pretty much history from there, I booked jobs really easily. Was contracted as an Angel when I was eighteen, and that was pretty much my line of work until I was twenty-one. Twenty-one might still sound young, but not in modeling. I realized from there it was pretty much the end, and I wanted to leave before the option was no longer mine. So I gave acting a shot.. and four years later, I’m still here."
what, if anything, keeps you grounded?
A good reality check. It’s easy to let things go to your head, I’ve realized. So my friends, for the most part, they can put me right back in my place.
would you rather relive your best moment or redo your worst mistake?
You have a really sad life when you can’t think of your best moment, or even worst mistake. I guess I haven’t hit the best and worst of life yet!
where's your escape from the city?
Chateau Marmont, conveniently located in the city. But the second I’m in, I feel like I’m in a whole other place. It’s always been mine and Felix’s little getaway, so it could be more about the sentiment than the place itself, but it always does the trick.
what are you like when you're out of the spotlight?
A bit less reserved. I’ve learned to keep my mouth shut and pretty much head down while out these days, you know, if not my child is potentially in danger.
how do you think your team would describe working with you?
The biggest pain in the ass. I typically have a lot of requests. But I can’t help it, needs are needs, I can’t work without them!
were there any deciding moments in your career?
Leaving modeling was really hard, but also very empowering. I didn’t realize just how restricting modeling could be. Since literally everything came down to your image, no one cared what I had to say. But when I did my first film, The Town, and got to do all the press afterward, that felt crucial to my career. For the first time I was being sat down and asked my thoughts and opinions, not just stared at!
any inside details on your latest project?
I’ve not been working since I found out I was pregnant, and I won’t be for at least a little while afterward. Right now my child is my priority.

I was born in LA, twenty-five years ago, almost twenty-six.. which is by far the most disturbing part of this whole story. My dad's a neurosurgeon, which is kind of funny, when you consider all of my mom's neurotic issues. See, he's kind of all work and no play- and she's the completely opposite, all play and no work. Kids were all about showing off for her, we lived in a really ritzy gated community in Beverly Hills, and it was the most Desperate Housewives thing I've ever seen. It was all about who had the new car of the week, whose pool house was the nicest, whose husband made the most money.. my mom got pretty wrapped up in it. When I was sixteen, I had been in New York for a couple of years, in the model apartments.. and she had no idea what to do without a kid, and I think she just kind of broke down. She went off to a wellness center, and I kind of distanced myself from the family at that point. There's a lot more to it, but I like to block it out of mind and memory! So yea, back to me.. I was living in New York, going to school there, doing the whole modeling thing. I was in love with it, I won't lie. I heard girl after girl complain, and don't get me wrong.. I'd have my days, but it was my favorite thing to do in the entire world. But I turned twenty, and things were just different. I knew I wasn't old, but in the entire industry's eyes- I'd already been around for years. That feeling stuck, and after a couple years of it I decided to move into films. Shortly after I met Graham Astor. And we even more shortly after we got engaged. I have a thing for engagements, not marriage, engagements, so I was willing to accept his request. But one thing led to another with my ex, and Graham was a lot smarter than he looked and realized that there was more to the ex than I was letting on. He had initially assumed it was just some stupid boyfriend, coming back around for a second, but he didn't really realize our history, and once he did it was just done. And then a whole other saga began, which was probably the one I wanted all along. Felix got his way, and Graham was done with me for good. And after a whole lot of ups and downs, we found ourselves in the most mature state of our seemingly never ending relationship. The ups and downs haven’t ceased, but there’s a level of faith I think we both have in the relationship now. And this baby, and his reaction to it, has been serious validation of that.
