5 THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME -
WHY THE CITY LIFE?
Coming from Texas I'll take the country life ten times outta ten, but LA is where Chloe is right now, and where motocross is. There's family, friends and work based here, sometimes taking us around the country or even the globe. But we find a good balance between city lights and country songs. Got a lot of good weather and sights here to enjoy too, no complaints. Course I get homesick every now and again, one day I'd like to be back home and really stay.
DESCRIBE THE PEOPLE/FEEL OF YOUR BUILDING/NEIGHBORHOOD.
Up in the hills, we don't have neighbors for a mile or two. Everything's wide open country up and down windy roads, long driveways and private properties. Fresh air's easy breathing. Under the stars but overlooking the lights, close enough to the city but high enough to get away. Good place to jog in the morning, let the pets go, raise some kids. Feelin the suburbs. Birds singing, dogs barking, wind chimes whirling. I love our house, it's mine and Chloe's. That's all I need.
WHAT CHANGES HAVE YOU MADE IN THE PAST 5 YEARS?
I've taken some chances. For one, I found myself racing, out of racing, then racing again. Broke out of my casts and slings, and most of all my depression. Not being able to do something you love becomes debilitating. That's why I'm blessed to compete again - even if I placed dead last every race, it's a hell of a lot better than lying in a hospital bed wishing to be back on two wheels. Another change is from Kaye to Chloe. It could look like jumpin the gun from one serious relationship to another, but I'm marrying one girl and that's the difference. There were no rebounds or replacements, it wasn't about Mitch or Kaye. I'm in love with Freckles, have been since early on. Life's changed with her, how I look at things, what I want, what's in reach. We might live wild sometimes, and that's exactly why I wanna spend the rest of my life with my Country Girl.
HOW CAN SOMEONE TELL IF YOU'RE LYING OR GUILTY?
I'm a bad liar for good reason: I don't lie a lot. I don't like to, I think you should be straightforward cause the truth will find a way to come out with or without you. If something's bothering me and I don't wanna talk about it right away, then I'm out in the garage. Fixing things up, riding around, driving, maybe running the dogs til neither of us can get out a breath. Can't sneak a smoke anymore since I quit for Chloe a while back. But eventually I gotta talk it out or else it's getting bigger on my mind, I might take my time but I'm still a grab-the-horns type of guy.
DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL MORALS:
The real simple stuff that's always stuck with me since I was young. Treat everyone as you'd like to be treated, cause courtesy and respect go a long ways in life. I read the Bible, God's way is my way. I believe in fate and Heaven, and stayin true to yourself as well as your roots. I'm pro-life, and I think marriage is between a man and a woman. I also think marriage and children are lifelong commitments. Give more than you take, help when you can. I believe people are genuinely good on the inside. If you do less than your best, you can't blame anybody but yourself. Family should be number one in your life, it's too short to take them or anything else for granted.
You don't have to share my beliefs or faith, and I won't judge ya on it, but it's a glimpse through my eyes if you want it.
HOW MIGHT SOMEONE ATTRACT YOUR ATTENTION?
She didn't make a big production out of it, cause she didn't have to. Showing up to the bar at first, giving me eyes all night til she was the only girl on my mind. Sittin down together in the corner booth, talkin about things we like. A game of pool, a couple beers. The chemistry took quick, showin up in the simple things. She's got a fire to her, you can see it in her smile. Dressed up or dressed down, I wanna follow those freckle trails where nobody else knows. Big blue eyes, chipped painted nails and the kind of laugh that reminds you of a song. We can go anywhere, do anything and have a hell of a time, collecting stories, making memories. Some big some small, some adventurous some silly. Some over the microphone at the Grammy Awards.
We used to never be sure of the time... But you can be damn sure we made the time. It's all ahead of us.
ONE LOVES OR MANY LOVES? WHY?
I wanna say one love, as in only one woman I wanna be with for the rest of my life. And that's Chloe. But for that to be true I guess it's because of many loves, from my first real girlfriend to Kaye. It was love as far as I knew it and felt it. Different times and different plans, but still footprints left behind me that helped move up to where I am. It didn't work out with anyone else for a reason, cause I'm not meant to be with them. Chloe's all I want.
A FAVORITE KIND OF KISS?
First one coming home. No matter who's been gone, how long, how far, where to, it's the first thing I need to feel back to normal. From off her tours or my road trips, it's tradition. Same with pullin up in the driveway, puttin the key in the doorway and greetin the animals, it's all I look forward to. It ain't right until then.
WOULD YOU RATHER RELIVE YOUR GREATEST MOMENT OR REDO YOUR WORST MISTAKE? EXPLAIN.
Mistakes can lead to great moments of redemption. Potential moments can bait toward your worst mistakes.

" They're crazy as all get out, as Southern as they come. They'll feed you til a belt loop pops, stick their nose in your business, get you drunk as a skunk, pick a fight, make up, then invite you back for more the next day. My dad's the free spirit, mama's the one to reign him in. My sisters range from stuffy to scrappy, with their kids and husbands all over the map and "Jesse Boy" still being the sheltered baby. There's always something goin on with someone, open to a million and one discussions over the dinner table after grace is said. When we visit for the holidays it's like never missing a beat, just the warmth and familiarity that makes home where your heart truly is.
Now with my future in-laws, they're big name around LA but real down to Earth. They remind me of my own folks. Whole lot to keep up with at all times, easy and welcoming when you look past the claims to fame. I feel like I've gained a second family, the way they took me up. Everyone's there for each other, puttin aside time for dinners at home where celebrations and leisure take over. Mrs. Polshuk's a peach, the twins are trouble of their own, the boys are a riot, and Mr. Polshuk has a friend in me rather than wantin to put a bullet in me. He's also given me the honor of marrying his daughter."
