She is perhaps best known for her role as Stella Fisher in the ABC series, Saving Stella Fisher. Recently, however, she's had the chance to play a coveted role in a new up and coming series on HBO. "I couldn't really even begin to tell the newcomers what to do, or even begin to give them advice. I think the best thing I could tell them is to just always be aware of your surroundings. Trust your instincts on people, and follow your dreams. As long as you follow your heart, then you'll survive in this harsh business."
what, if anything, keeps you grounded?
I would love to say that my family definitely helps me keep my head on straight. They pull me down if I start to pull my diva moves, you know. But I also believe that God helps keep me grounded. And definitely the fans. They give me strength when I need it the most, and they remind me every day why I do what I do. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't even be in this business.
would you rather relive your best moment or redo your worst mistake?
We all make mistakes. And, of course, what's in the past is in the past for a reason. I'm just looking towards the future. Never look back.
where's your escape from the city?
Going up to northern Cali, or even vacations to the Caribbean. If I can't get away, then my house is definitely my escape. It's outside of LA, so it's not in the hype of everything. It's secretive and secluded enough to be far away from everything but still be within 10 minutes from the city.
what are you like when you're out of the spotlight?
I'd like to think that I'm the same as when I'm in the spotlight. I never put on a front when I'm in the public eye. I'm always just Lucy, you know? Personable, friendly, outgoing, talkative..that kinda thing. I joke around with my team and dance around my dressing rooms as I do in the public eye. I'm one of those rare actresses that are just same in and out of the spotlight.
how do you think your team would describe working with you?
They would probably describe me as fun and energetic. We always play music when we're getting ready for events to keep the mood light. I joke around with them, and dance around when we get ready. I'm easy to work with and I basically get along with almost everyone I come in contact with. It just come really easily for me.
were there any deciding moments in your career?
Probably the first audition I went to. I went in not even knowing if that was what I truly wanted to do, and when I walked out I had this sense of accomplishment and I knew that that was what I wanted to do the rest of my life. It's what has gotten me to where I am today.
any inside details on your latest project?
It's with Tommy McKenna, and it's a movie based on true life events. There's some racy scenes and whatnot. It's exciting and different and I'm completely stoked for the filming to begin.

I was born to movie producer, Frankie Montgomery, and Hollywood socialite, Maggie Montgomery in June of 1991. Born eight years before me was my brother, Sebastian Montgomery, in 1983. We have lived in and grew up in Los Angeles our entire lives. We grew up around the limelight for as long as I could ever remember. We all went to high school at Beverly Hills High. Basically, the same high school that almost every single student growing up in BH goes to. There, I joined the drama club and that's when my acting career really took off. It was there that the then-drama director, Jameson Brown, gave me the courage and strength to take flight in an area that I was really proud of. He guided me in every which way I needed to go. He made me feel really strong in each show he directed me in. He was always able to give me direction without being too overbearing. He was just one of those directors that knew when his actors had talent. He strived to make each of us a better overall theatre performer or technician; in any way that he could. He gave us guidance on basically anything we wanted, you know? We could come to him about problems in our families or just to talk. He was just one of those kinds of teachers. Anyway, without his guidance and teaching, I probably wouldn't have been able to go through with my first audition. I was only fourteen years old, and he pushed me to do it. He was the one who got it for me. And ever since then, I've kinda been on a high ride. I've gotten to be in films with actors such as Anne Hathaway and Julia Roberts; and even in TV shows with AnnaSophia Robb, Vanessa Hudgens, and Robert Pattison. I've been able to travel the globe and promote my amazing movies and shows, and I've been able to give back to such an incredible community. I am still living in Los Angeles, and my next project will be with an up and coming young actor, Tommy McKenna. He's new but he's super insanely talented and I can't wait to see what the next couple of months, and years have in store for me. I'm not quite ready to give all this up yet! It's too much fun!
